We want you to be completely satisfied with your Malinow Audio purchase. We understand that plugins can sound different in your DAW compared to demos, or may not fit your workflow. That's why we offer a straightforward 14-day money-back guarantee.
Eligibility
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- Your request is submitted within 14 days of purchase
- It is your first refund request for that specific product
- You have not violated our End User License Agreement
How to Request a Refund
- Email us at support@malinowaudio.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include:
- Your order number or email used for purchase
- The product(s) you wish to refund
- (Optional) Brief reason for the refund — this helps us improve
- We'll respond within 1-2 business days to confirm your refund
Refund Processing
Once your refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed to your original payment method
- Processing takes 5-10 business days depending on your bank
- Your license will be revoked and plugin will be deactivated
- Any associated license keys will be invalidated
Non-Refundable Situations
While we try to be flexible, refunds may be denied in these cases:
- Request made after 14 days from purchase date
- Multiple refund requests for the same product (we allow one refund per product per customer)
- Evidence of license key sharing or redistribution
- Attempting to exploit the refund system (e.g., repeated purchase-refund cycles)
- Products obtained through promotional giveaways (free products)
Bundles and Discounts
Bundle Refunds: If you purchased a bundle, you may request a refund for the entire bundle within 14 days. Partial refunds for individual products within a bundle are not available.
Discounted Purchases: Refunds are based on the actual amount paid, not the original price.
Technical Issues
If you're experiencing technical issues with our plugins, please contact our support team before requesting a refund. We're often able to resolve compatibility issues, installation problems, or other technical challenges.
Chargebacks
We kindly request that you contact us for a refund before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Chargebacks incur fees and administrative burden that hurt small businesses like ours.
If you file a chargeback without first contacting us for a refund, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback and ban the associated account from future purchases.
Currency and Taxes
Refunds are issued in the original currency of purchase. Any currency conversion differences due to exchange rate fluctuations are not our responsibility.
Tax refunds (VAT, sales tax) are processed according to applicable laws and may be reflected in your refund amount.
