Plugin Idea Program Terms
Please review these terms carefully before submitting your plugin idea.

1. Program Overview
The Malinow Audio Plugin Idea Program ("Program") allows users to submit plugin concepts for potential development. If Malinow Audio selects and develops a submitted idea, the original submitter may be eligible for a profit-sharing arrangement as outlined below.
2. Profit Share Arrangement
50% Revenue Share
If your idea is selected and developed into a commercial product, you will receive 50% of net profits from sales of that specific plugin.
Definition of Net Profits: Net profits are calculated as gross revenue minus:
- •Payment processing fees (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
- •Applicable taxes and VAT
- •Refunds and chargebacks
- •Affiliate commissions (if applicable)
Development costs, marketing costs, and operational overhead are NOT deducted from the profit share calculation.
3. No Guarantee of Development
Important: Submitting an idea does NOT guarantee that Malinow Audio will develop it. We receive many submissions and only select ideas that align with our product vision, technical capabilities, and market opportunity.
Factors we consider when evaluating submissions:
- •Uniqueness and market differentiation
- •Technical feasibility
- •Alignment with our brand and expertise
- •Market demand and commercial viability
4. Written Agreement Required
If Malinow Audio decides to develop your idea, a formal written agreement must be executed before development begins. This agreement will:
- •Confirm the 50% profit share arrangement
- •Define the specific product scope
- •Establish payment terms and schedule
- •Address intellectual property ownership
- •Include standard legal provisions
5. Intellectual Property
Before Development: Submitting an idea does not transfer any intellectual property rights to Malinow Audio. Your idea remains yours until a formal agreement is signed.
After Agreement: The executed agreement will typically grant Malinow Audio a license to develop and sell the plugin, while you retain credit as the original concept creator.
Similar Ideas: Malinow Audio may independently develop plugins with similar concepts. Submission does not create exclusivity, and we are not obligated to inform you of similar internal projects.
6. Payment Schedule
Profit share payments are distributed on a quarterly basis:
- •Q1 (Jan-Mar) payments made in April
- •Q2 (Apr-Jun) payments made in July
- •Q3 (Jul-Sep) payments made in October
- •Q4 (Oct-Dec) payments made in January
You will receive transparent sales reports with each payment showing gross revenue, deductions, and your share calculation.
7. Duration
The profit share arrangement continues for the lifetime of the product - as long as the plugin is available for sale, you receive your share of profits. If the product is discontinued, no further payments are due.
8. Your Responsibilities
- •Provide accurate contact information
- •Respond to communications within a reasonable timeframe
- •Provide valid payment information when required
- •Report any changes to contact or payment information promptly
- •Handle any tax obligations related to your income
9. Confidentiality
We treat all submissions as confidential and do not share your ideas with third parties. However, we cannot guarantee that similar ideas won't be developed independently or submitted by others.
