Licensing & Purchase

How does the licensing system work?

Each plugin purchase includes a lifetime license with 3 machine activations. You can use your plugins on up to 3 computers simultaneously. If you need to move an activation, you can deactivate it from one machine and activate on another through your account dashboard.

Is it a subscription or one-time purchase?

All Malinow Audio plugins are one-time purchases with lifetime licenses. No subscriptions, no recurring fees. You pay once and own the plugin forever, including all future updates.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and PayPal through our secure Stripe checkout. All transactions are encrypted and PCI-compliant.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all plugins. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, contact our support team within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Please review our Refund Policy for complete details.

Can I transfer my license to someone else?

License transfers are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact our support team if you need to transfer a license to another user.

Installation & Compatibility

What plugin formats are supported?

All Malinow Audio plugins are available in VST3 and AU (Audio Unit) formats. VST3 works on both Windows and macOS, while AU is macOS-only. We do not currently support AAX format.

What are the system requirements?

macOS: 10.13 (High Sierra) or later, Intel or Apple Silicon (Universal Binary). Windows: Windows 10 or later, 64-bit only. All platforms: 4GB RAM minimum, any VST3 or AU compatible DAW.

How do I install the plugins?

After purchase, download the installer from your account dashboard. Run the installer and follow the prompts. The plugins will be installed to your system's default VST3/AU folders. Restart your DAW and scan for new plugins.

Which DAWs are compatible?

Our plugins work with all major DAWs including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Pro Tools (via VST3), Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, Bitwig, and any other DAW that supports VST3 or AU formats.

Do the plugins work on Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3)?

Yes! All Malinow Audio plugins are Universal Binaries, meaning they run natively on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs without Rosetta emulation.

Technical & Troubleshooting

My DAW doesn't see the plugin. What should I do?

First, ensure the plugin is installed in the correct location. For VST3: Windows - C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3, macOS - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3. For AU: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components. Then rescan plugins in your DAW. If issues persist, try restarting your DAW or computer.

The plugin is causing crashes or audio glitches

Try increasing your audio buffer size in your DAW settings. Ensure you're running the latest version of the plugin and your DAW. If problems persist, contact support with your system specs, DAW version, and a description of the issue.

How do I update to the latest version?

Download the latest installer from your account dashboard and run it. The installer will update your existing installation while preserving your presets and settings.

Can I use the plugins in multiple projects simultaneously?

Absolutely! You can use as many instances of our plugins as your system can handle across any number of projects. There are no limitations on simultaneous usage.
